The 227 Boating Safety Virtual IQC prepares qualified instructors to teach the AB 127 and/or ASA 127 Boating Safety courses. It covers NASBLA and U.S. Coast Guard standards, required curriculum, exam procedures, and state-specific requirements. Participants should be familiar with the Boating Safety Made Easy textbook and 127 Instructor Guide. After successfully completing the IQC and online exam, instructors receive their 227 certification and can access course materials to begin teaching 127 classes.
